About Whalidate: a Copy Trading Tool for Polymarket
Last updated
Whalidate is a self-serve copy trading tool for Polymarket, the prediction market. You choose which Polymarket wallets ("whales") to follow and set your rules: which of their trades to copy, how much to put on each, when to exit and how much may be at risk. Whalidate then places the orders that follow those rules. Our Terms of Service are an agreement between you and the team that runs Whalidate.
What Whalidate does
- Finds and scores wallets. WhaleFinder reads Polymarket's public data and scores wallets on how they made their money, not only on how much. Our Methodology explains how.
- Copies only the trades that pass your rules, at the price available when the order goes out, within the limits you set.
- Runs every strategy on paper first, with virtual money and simulated fills. Paper trading is free and has no time limit.
- Trades live, if you choose, with real money from a trading wallet the Service creates for you, on a paid plan. We take no fee per trade and no share of your profit; see Pricing.
What Whalidate does not do
We are not Polymarket. Whalidate is not affiliated with, endorsed by or operated by Polymarket. We do not control how Polymarket works, what it charges or how its markets are resolved.
We do not give advice. We are not a broker, an exchange, a bank, an investment adviser or a portfolio manager. Every trade the Service places follows rules you set; we do not decide for you which trades to make. Nothing on this site or in the app is financial, investment, legal or tax advice.
We do not promise returns. Past results of any wallet, preset or strategy, ours included, do not predict future results. Copying can lose money, and live results can be worse than paper results. Read the Risk Disclosure before you trade live.
We do not use your money for anything else. For live trading we do hold the keys of your trading wallet, as our Terms of Service put it:
When you prepare live trading, the Service creates a wallet for you on the Polygon network. We hold the private keys of this wallet and use them to sign the transactions your strategies and your withdrawal requests call for. We do not use your funds for anything else, and we do not lend them or mix them with our own money.
That makes the trading wallet custodial, and your funds depend on our security and on our continued operation. Your balance is not covered by any deposit insurance, investor compensation scheme or government guarantee. The Risk Disclosure explains what could go wrong.
We do not sell your data. The website has no forms, no accounts, no cookies of its own and no analytics or advertising trackers. The app collects what it needs to run your account and your strategies, as our Privacy Policy lists.
Where Whalidate runs
Our servers, the database and this website are hosted in the European Union by Contabo GmbH. Our emails are sent by Brevo, in France. Some of the other providers we use work outside the EU, such as the one that keeps our support mailbox; the Privacy Policy lists every provider that processes data for us, and where. We apply the standard of the EU General Data Protection Regulation to every user, wherever they live.
Live trades are executed on Polymarket and settle on the Polygon blockchain.
Who cannot use Whalidate
You may not use Whalidate if you are located in, or a resident of:
- the United States, including its territories (our decision);
- Cuba, Iran, North Korea or Syria, or the Crimea, Donetsk or Luhansk regions of Ukraine, where Polymarket blocks all trading.
You also may not use it if you are under 18, or named on a sanctions list of the United Nations, the United States (OFAC), the European Union or the United Kingdom. Prediction markets are restricted in more places than this list, and you are responsible for checking that you may use Whalidate where you live. The full list is on our Restricted Countries page.
